What if there was a future where all kids have the opportunity to participate in sports regardless of socioeconomic factors? A future where collegiate athletes join with local communities to ensure team sports are accessible to all kids.

We're runners, dreamers, leaders, and supporters building a non-profit organization that aims to build an inclusive environment around the sport of running in our Providence community. We aspire to foster children’s growth into healthy, confident and inspired individuals. We strive toward building a future where team sports are accessible to all kids regardless of socioeconomic factors. We believe that every college campus has the potential to become a beacon of health, inclusion, and community engagement through sports.

This is our FIRST SEASON at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. ALL proceeds will go to efforts supporting Run Your City, specifically the Providence chapter. We're looking to fundraise money to support our six week free-of-charge running program to introduce all of our Providence kids to sport! Fundraised money will go toward food, t-shirts, supplies, and other areas that will reach more of our kiddos! No matter the donation, YOU are making a difference in our Providence community!

We are collegiate student-athletes looking to give back to our communities by providing team-focused running practices and races to kids of all ability levels. We aim to build a future where collegiate athletes join with local communities to ensure team sports are accessible to all kids regardless of socioeconomic factors.

Founded in 2018 in Charlottesville, Virginia, Run Your City is committed to building an inclusive community through the sport of running. The program aims to provide every child, regardless of ability, gender, or socioeconomic background, the opportunity to grow into healthy, confident, and inspired individuals. By integrating collegiate students/athletes and local communities, we hope to make sports accessible for all children.

We are starting a Run Your City chapter in New Haven this spring. Every week, we will hold practice and races for local New Haven kids. These sessions will be spaces for community to gather and to pass on the joy of running to these students.

The funds will go towards supplies that we will be able to reuse in the coming years, T-shirts for the kids, and snacks.

Run Your City is committed to building an inclusive community through the sport of running. We aim to provide every child, regardless of ability, gender, or socioeconomic background, the opportunity to grow into healthy, confident, and inspired individuals. Our programs are designed to be accessible and free, and we actively work to eliminate the barriers that prevent participation.

Get involved in supporting DC's branch of Run Your City, run by Georgetown University student athletes. DC Run Your City strives to create an inclusive and connected community through running. We aspire to give every child the opportunity to gain confidence through athletics that will allow them to grow into determined individuals.

We are starting a chapter of a nonprofit called Run Your City, which will be led by University of Miami student-athletes, dedicated to giving every child in our community the chance to experience the life-changing benefits of sports. Run Norfolk is a free running program connecting kids in the community with student-athletes from ODU & medical students from EVMS. We are raising money to pay for the insurance necessary to put on the program, while also keeping it free for the community! https://www.runyourcity.org/

Run Bugesera is Run Your City´s newest initiative to continue its mission of providing all children with an opportunity to learn about running and build healthy life choices. In partnership with Rwanda Children, we have decided to extend our mission globally to help those who need it the most. Run Bugesera will be an annual two-week program that brings hundreds of children together to promote community, engage in positive values, and connect with others. This program aims to provide kids in Bugesera a safe place to spend their days during the school vacation, a period in which otherwise they would have to work or spend their time in the streets.

Every child deserves the chance to cross a finish line they never thought possible. That’s what Run Bugesera is all about.

This annual 8-day camp in Rwanda brings together 400+ children — many of whom have never had access to organized sports — for a week filled with running, confidence-building, healthcare, meals, and mentorship. It's more than a camp. It's a launchpad for possibility.

We believe sports can change lives. Run Your City removes financial, social, and ability-based barriers so every child, regardless of background or ability, can reach their starting line with confidence and joy.

Your donation helps us provide essential support for Run Bugesera 2025 — including transportation, meals, race-day gear, medical care, and year-round mentorship for campers. 100% of what you give goes directly to the kids we serve.
