Riding for Relief - Hurricane Dorian/Bahamas
I really didn't want to ride this week - I'm not close to being in shape! But when I realized my Rotary Club is participating with other clubs in our district to send relief to the Bahamas, I can't just sit idly by!
So I am committing 2 things! First, I am committing to riding my bike 100 miles this Saturday (09/21) from Atlanta (my home town) to Anniston (my birth place)!
I've never travelled to Nassau, or other parts of the islands, but I know that they are in need of dire assistance as they seek to recover from this devastation!
Will you please join me in supporting this worthy cause? Time is short and I need your help quickly to meet my goal! Every penny you donate will be channeled through Rotary International directly to partners that are already onsite doing good work.
Every dollar you donate is tax deductible (to the extent provided by the IRS). Thank you in advance for your support! I will feel your presence every mile of the ride this weekend.
