Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel, Incorporated

The people of Chinchero, Peru are often abandoned, victims of abuse, exploited and malnourished. They need our help. We at Calvary LaSemilla, are a partner ministry of Rocky Mountain Calvary, and we step in and  are dedicated to helping these people by giving them God's Love and the Gospel of Jesus, along with nutrition via food programs, education, counseling and work programs. The ministry is split into two sections which are the children's ministry and the widow's ministry. The children's ministry teaches the 3-14 year old children who work the fields and shepherd flocks and meets their physical needs. One of these physical needs is a food program and the children are also taught English, how to use computers and other helpful life skills. The widows ministry consists of 30 widows who have extreme physical and spiritual needs. They are taught about Jesus and are given hope therein and they are encouraged to integrate into the local church. They are also given monthly food baskets, along with counseling, economic training, hygiene and practical skills to help improve their quality of life.


With this said, our ministry at Calvary LaSemilla has grown so much that we have outgrown our three small stone buildings and are in need of a new headquarters/church to grow and serve the people of Chinchero, Peru. The cost of the land and the entire building cost amazingly only comes out to be $75,000, and we need your help to raise the money necessary to make this dream a reality to impact many lives in the future. Our ministry center will serve all members of the community from the very young to the very old, we offer as a place to meet, learn and grow. This multifunctional building that will serve as a church, an outreach center, a food distributions center and a training center for missionaries and pastors. It will facilitate and function for the diverse ministry in Chinchero.
