Rock of Hope is Turning 4!
It’s hard to believe that Rock of Hope is turning four years old at the end of September! God has blessed us beyond our wildest imagination. Through the generous support of individuals, churches, businesses and organizations, we’ve been able to launch a top-notch program devoted to helping people overcome homelessness.
While we’ve learned a lot, Rock of Hope has also experienced some growing pains. Our “family homes” have experienced greater wear-and-tear than the average home, due to the number of occupants. In order to continue to achieve our goal of providing high quality housing with affordable program fees, we need help in sprucing up these homes.
We've also had some break-ins recently, and we need new appliances to replace some that were stolen.
We are asking for your help in overcoming these short-term challenges. Our goal is to raise $12,000 by the end of September. Our “big family” home requires new flooring as it’s had quite a bit of use since we first opened it! The cost of this project is $2,100 alone and we’d like to replace the flooring during September for the next family moving in.
We've seen the good we bring to people's lives by preparing them to for a sustainable life off the streets, but we can't do it without your help.
