About Road Runners Club of America (PITTSBURGH INDIAN COMMUNITY & FRIEN)
The primary mission for PICAF is for the Indian Community and their friends in the Greater Pittsburgh region to give back to the community where we live. It was established in Baden, PA in 2014 to raise funds to support local/regional organizations addressing various charitable causes, including but not limited to homelessness, education, and health care challenges faced by the disadvantaged community members and supporting our First Responders. The Organization is primarily supported by contributions from individuals and other organizations. The primary fundraiser is through the PIC5K which is 5K Run & Walk in North Park to promote healthy living. PIC5K is usually held in Fall season. In 2020 USA was affected by the COVID pandemic and PICAF did several fundraising campaigns to support the Greater Pittsburgh Community in the areas of Hunger, Education, and Homelessness
