Suicide Awareness and Prevention!!!
Suicide...no parent, brother, sister, friend or co-worker ever wants to lose anyone in life this way. It is for this reason, that I have been advocating for mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Having lost both of my brothers to suicide, this is absolutely personal for me and I will always advocate to support resources and help to prevent suicide! This year, I will be running across Massachusetts from New Hampshire to the Connecticut border in the Massive Midstate 100 Miler to support Riverside Community Care. I will have 30 hours to complete this trek which ascends a total of over 10,000 feet. I have spent countless hours training for this one and it will certainly be my biggest physical and mental test to date. The physical toll that it will take on me and the hours upon hours that I have spent preparing for this pale in comparison to the difficulties that individuals with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts go through on a far more regular basis. I want to make a difference! Can you help me make a greater impact? If so, please consider donating to Riverside Community Care whose organization does a wonderful job reaching out and helping those in the greatest need!
