About RISE Travel Institute A NJ Nonprofit Corporation
RISE Travel Institute is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to creating a just and equitable world through travel education. Our online curriculum features the award-winning Flagship Certificate Program in Sustainability and Anti-Oppression, a carbon literacy and climate justice workshop, and a study abroad pre-departure program launching in 2025. We provide free resources like short courses, a blog, podcast, and toolkits, and host events that spark dialogue on travel, justice, and sustainability, all grounded in decolonial and systems thinking. Our alumni engage in conscious travel through annual Experiential Journeys. We envision a world where travelers practice and promote responsible, impactful, sustainable and ethical travel that uplifts global communities and protects natural ecosystems.
