About Ring Dog Rescue

RDR organized for the charitable and educational purposes, to rescue, rehabilitate and place abused, abandoned, surrendered and homeless dogs with a focus on pit bull types. To act as liaison between shelters and animal control and assist in providing appropriate medical care, spay & neuter, vaccinations, and educate potential adopters. RDR provides shelter enrichment to several area shelters, provides free spay and neuter to owned pit bull type dogs in the Greater Richmond, Virginia area, has a dedicated number of foster homes for senior and terminally ill dogs, cares for rescued farmed animals on over 50 acres, provides free microchipping to dogs and cats being spayed or neutered at a high volume low cost clinic, and provides shelter enrichment at several municipal agencies.
