Ring Dog Rescue

This handsome man is VITO!  He was recently transferred from Brunswick Animal Shelter to our friends at the Colonial Heights Animal shelter where it was discovered that the wound on his face is due to an embedded BB!  There is at least one more in the top of his head and another one was removed from his ear.  Who knows how many more there are.  We are raising money to help offset the cost of Vito’s surgery (that will include his neuter), and if the BB’s weren’t bad enough he is also heartworm positive as well.  Despite all he has been through he is an absolute lover.  He enjoyed his bath Saturday, his walk by the lake with Jasmina (an RDR volunteer), and thanks to some of her yummy treats he drastically improved on his leash walking skills before the end of the day.  He’s great with the dogs he’s met and LOVES car rides. This boy deserves the best and we’re all committed to making sure he gets it.  Please help us help him!  Every dollar raised will go directly to his care.
