Riegelsville Library is fundraising

Riegelsville Public Library Annual Fund Drive 2023
Dear Neighbors, Friends, and Patrons:
The Riegelsville Public Library has welcomed residents of Riegelsville, Durham Township, and beyond for 47 years. If you're unfamiliar with us, we've been located on the second floor of Riegelsville’s Borough Hall (former Riegelsville Academy building) since 1976, almost 50 years.
Many of our books are shelved on original 1881 bookcases. Library patrons today enjoy gathering around the cozy Mercer tile fireplace, attending a children's Storytime or reading in the children’s book room, accessing free print and online magazines, newspapers and WIFI, finding resources to help with school projects, attending adult book club discussions, and reading a fantastic assortment of books.
We're reaching out to you to ask for your support to continue to offer these spaces and services. Unfortunately, 2022 brought rising inflation and increased library costs. Like most small libraries, we rely on donations to help us meet these expenses. In fact, in 2022, the largest percentage of our income came from YOU - residents and supporters. We are so grateful to be supported by our community and hope to receive your support again this year.
In 2022, with your support, we:
• Loaned out almost 12,000 adult and children’s books,
• Added over 850 items to our book, audiobook, and DVD collection,
• Offered 123 programs for children and adults,
• Greeted 5,165 visitors.
This year, you can continue to help the Library with your generous support -- every dollar donated goes to helping to meet our budget and continue our contribution to the community. We need it more than ever. No donation is too small. Every donation is deeply appreciated.
