In 2019, our team and Green School Bali banned together to raise $15,000 USD to construct an ocean sanctuary for rehabilitating dolphins who were rescued from captivity from the Melka Hotel in North Bali where they were held in chlorinated swimming pools for years for the purpose of human entertainment.
Today, the dolphins are thriving in their new seapen in Menjangan, Bali. The dolphins, Johnny, Rocky & Rambo, are re-learning how to catch live fish - a prerequisite for their release. As we prepare for the release, we would like to raise additional money to pay for their veterinary care, feeding, and transportation to the release site.
