On November 30, 2017, we lost the heart of our family, as Kyle Allen Maule lost his nearly four month battle with liver failure at the age of 31. He was an incredible son, brother, and uncle. Many of you know Kyle and what a great man he was. To know him is to love him!
He was a joy to be around, always making us laugh and always putting everyone else before himself. This is why as we celebrate his life we are asking that in lieu of flowers and gifts that you give back to one of Kyle's favorite charities, The Ressurection House of Florida.
Before moving to Maui, Kyle attended culinary school and enjoyed the pleasure of working in multiple restaurants and kitchens including The Tommy Bahama Cafe and The Cheesecake Factory. During his spare time, you could find Kyle at The Resurrection House assisting in the kitchen to help feed and serve the many homeless and needy people of Sarasota County.
The Resurrection House was founded in 1989 by six downtown Sarasota churches. They minister to the poorest of the poor and attempt to facilitate their return to an accepting and accomodating society. Their services includes showers, restrooms, laundry, counseling, medical treatment, food, clothing, and more. Since the founding of Resurrection House in 1989, they have helped more than 30,000 individual clients.
Kyle loved to cook, but most importantly he loved to help others. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to honor and remember his extraordinary life. All proceeds donated will be given directly the The Resurrection House, Inc. of Sarasota. We love him, we miss him, and we thank you for your love and support for Kyle.
