Help Protect Coral Reefs with Reef Guardians
We protect and preserve the ocean through research, restoration and education.

We teach to expand environmental and cultural awareness and reduce harm to the environment. Since 2015, we have hosted in-person and online environmental education programs for youth, adults, and visitors, focusing on marine biology, ecology, stewardship, and advocacy. When you donate to Reef Guardians Hawaii, you're giving the gift of healthy reefs, streams, and oceans for our and future generations.

$25 donation pays for one lab test

$60 donation will sponsor a child's Online Sea School course

$200 donation will sponsor a Reef Camp program for one child

$1000 donation will pay for a much needed microscope and lab equipment

Please help us reach $50,000 for a mobile classroom/field station cargo van.

We've already raised $15,000!

With the van, this program will be sustainable and reach many more kids and families across the island.

About Reef Guardians Hawaii

The Reef Guardians mission is to protect the reefs and to inform, educate and create action. Working with local communities, universities, business groups and government we continue to study the rapid changes to our coral reefs and near-shore habitats. Our goal is to develop Reef Guardians of all ages who are truly connected to the ocean. These are the marine crusaders who will commit themselves to the endgame of creating solutions that guard the welfare of Hawaii coral reefs and coral reefs worldwide.
