Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Red Bird Running Club, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

We try to create really amazing experiences for our student athletes and often times that requires financial contributions. Without your help none of this is possible.

Some things that we were able to do this year with last years financial contributions

Purchased 175 new uniforms

Provided over 75 scholarships for our athletes with our two team dinners

Provided over 10 warm-ups for kids who could not afford them

Provided over 15 pairs of training shoes, spikes, thrower shoes, etc. to athletes who could not afford them.

Purchased straps and sleds for our sprinters

Purchased 3 new pole vault poles for our pole vaulters

Purchased a pole vault cart to transport equipment at practice and meets

Bought 6 javelins, 4 discs, and 4 shots for our throwers

Bought 4 new high jump and pole vault bars for training purposes

Misc. equipment like rakes, shovels, tape measurers, broom sticks, sand, etc.

We have a lot of ideas for trying to continue to improve our program and the experience for all within our program. We are hoping to raise at least $15,000 dollars this year. Below are some of the things we'd like to try to buy:

9 sets of blocks - ($600 each) - we realized we didn't have enough this year with our numbers for everyone to have ample time to work in blocks and we need that to change

High Jump Portable Cover ($15,000) - storage is limited in our athletic building and if we purchase a portable cover it'll protect our outdoor pits and open up storage in our building. I don't expect to raise $15,000 for this, this year but hoping we can raise enough in the next few years to buy this. https://www.eliteathleteinc.com/gill-pit-garage/

Javelins ($500 each) - We broke 5 javelins this year and need to purchase some more to get back to a level where we have enough to practice.

These are just a few of the bigger purchases that we are trying to make but we also want to be able to continue to provide shoes, scholarships, equipment, and gear to those who can afford it.

Want to join me in making a difference? We're raising money to benefit Lincoln HS Track and Field, and any donation will help make an impact.

We try to create really amazing experiences for our student athletes and often times that requires financial contributions. We had an amazing end of year BBQ, we've done popsicles for the kids after practice, we've provided food and drinks at various meets or practices, but again this costs money. Without your help none of this is possible. We have some more really fun ideas for next year when we are back on our home track that we think every athlete on the team will enjoy.

Purely from a track and field perspective, our numbers continue to grow and we think we might be close to 275-300 athletes on the team next year when we are practicing at our home location and at normal hours. We need to buy 120 new uniforms which is around $6,000. We need to upgrade some of our equipment, our shot puts for example, and that'll be another $1,000 dollars. As you can see these things add up and to continue to create a top flight experience for your student athlete, we need your help!

Lincoln HS Track and Field Team Fundraiser
Hi All,

Head Coach Eric Dettman here. We are asking for your help today to continue the tradition of creating an amazing experience for our Track and Field Student-Athletes. Over the years, we've created a wonderful, all-inclusive community, and we could not do that without the help of our parents and supporters. All of this takes money, and often this falls on the coaches themselves. We also have coaches who volunteer their time, and we'd love to have the opportunity to pay them. Track and field is inherently an expensive sport, and in order to keep creating this incredible experience, we need your help.

Through this platform, all donations would go to our foundation, Red Bird Running Club, and it is tax-deductible.

A few things that we are trying to purchase for next season

8 new sets of blocks - $518 dollars apiece

4 new competition discs - $309 apiece

4 new competition shot puts - $202 apiece

Freelap system - $2500

Miscellaneous items like wickets, ladders, stop watches - $500

Fundraiser for New Uniforms
Hi All! We're looking to raise money through our 501c3 foundation, the Red Bird Running Club. We are asking for $15,000 from our community so that we can replenish our uniforms. We are asking this for a few reasons. Firstly, we handed out uniforms preCovid last year and received very few of them back. Because of this we scrambled significantly this year with uniforms and had to use old uniforms with many of our kids. Secondly, and more importantly, we've historically used different colored uniforms to signify Varsity or JV athletes. We'd like to move away from that concept and put all of our athletes in the same uniform to have a more uniformed look. Please help us to raise this $15,000 dollars by donating and sharing to those around you so that we can purchase 350 new uniforms and ensure that every athlete has the same uniform.
