Helping adults with mental health issues in NOVA
Why RPSV?
-One in five Americans has a mental health issue
-One-third of Americans now show signs of clinical anxiety or depression due to the recent pandemic
RPSV has been supporting individuals with mental health, substance abuse, and homelessness issues across Northern Virginia since 2011. RPSV uses a peer-based recovery model (which relies on peer support and living examples of recovery versus the medical model which can often mean medication and costly psychiatric hospitalizations) to help people recover and live the life of their dreams.
RPSV offers online support groups, Warm Line phone support, and free meals for those who are hungry during this trying time. Some of its recovery centers will also be reopening in the coming days in a limited capacity as well.
RPSV has helped thousands of Northern Virginians since its inception. We are here for you! Learn more at rpsva.org.
