River of Life Church Rescue
CHURCH RESCUE FUND
The RCCG River of Life is a bible believing community based church which was established in 2002. We held our church services from inception at the Bladensburg Elementary school in Maryland and in 2008 started construction of our sanctuary in Riverdale Maryland.
In year 2010, we moved into our church sanctuary where we have been holding our church services till date and also offering programs to both our members and the community.
The programs we offer include, but are not limited to:
1. A day care service which is highly subsidized for underprivileged and low income families;
2. Weekly food drives to feed the community;
3. We have health ministries that screen for high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol levels, etc. and provides opportunities to church members and the community to learn about wellness, making healthy life style choices through periodic workshops and seminars.
Our pastor, Dr. David Ijeh, is a practicing psychiatrist who utilizes his wealth of experience to address mental health issues through psychological counseling, drug addiction counseling etc.
4. We run a women’s ministry that seeks to empower women and mentors our young women. The Mothers Connect ministry which is an arm of the women’s ministry meets monthly to pray for the unity and restoration of families.
5. We have a Young Adults Ministry called the Ablaze ministry which provides leadership development and empowerment opportunities to our young adults in the church and the community.
6. Our church is a healing and deliverance ministry that addresses the spiritual issues that have defied medical treatment. We have experienced numerous notable and verifiable miracles.
Due to situations beyond our control, the church has been faced with financial challenges that has threatened its existence and the continued offer of these services to the community.
We have to come up with about One Million ($1,000,000.00) dollars before March 2019 for the church to stay open.
We are in the dire need of your financial support and passionately appeal for your generous donation.
