For nearly 35 years, Pastor Troy and Melanie Bohn have served as "Missionaries to America" by reaching the lost with the Gospel and discipling others to do the same. In 2003, they stepped out into a new level of faith and answered the call to the mission field of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Since then, they have endeavored to "do as much as they can with as much as they have," trusting the Lord Jesus along the way to "supply every need according to His riches through Christ Jesus" - and God has always proven Himself to be faithful! Their biggest blessing throughout their decades of ministry has been in raising up another generation to take the GOOD NEWS into the BAD PLACES for JESUS.

In 2014 (through a bonafide miracle), they launched the Raven Ministries International Training Center just across the Mississippi River from downtown New Orleans. This place has served to host hundreds of urban missionaries over the years and serves as a base of operation and ministry training center for young men and women coming to be "equipped for the work of the ministry of Jesus."

Each week, our teams minister in jails, nursing homes, neighborhood projects, Bourbon Street, and anywhere people can be found that need to be loved and introduced to the life-changing message of Christ.

Hi everyone! My name is Pastor Troy Bohn, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me.

We were recently informed that a new regulation imposed by the State Fire Marshall of Louisiana will directly impact us here at the Raven Ministries International Training Center.

What this regulation is: every 10 years the state is requiring an intensive (and expensive) inspection of our facilities fire suppression system (sprinklers) in addition to the standard annual inspection of fire extinguishers, signage, fire alarm system, etc..

The estimated cost for this is $3500

The Mission of RMITC is to 'Restor A Vision and Evangelize Nations'. This is done through the simplicity of sharing the message of Jesus Christ and His substitutionary death upon the Cross and resurrection from the dead. We actively do this through our regular ministries of evangelism and community outreach including: 1. Ministry to incarcerated youth (and adults) 2. Ministry to seniors citizens (meals, prayer and fellowship) 3. Ministry to the homeless 4. Mininstry to at-risk children in underserved communities through our Adopt-A-Block 5. Ministry through our street evangelism 6. Ministry on college campuses In addition to our regularly scheduled church and discipleship services - we also offer a (12) month ministry intership for thouse desiring to participate in hands on opportunities
