Rational Animal's mission is to create media and events to increase awareness and help at-risk animals. Founded in New York City in 2002 and continuing our work with headquarters in California, our original grassroots campaigns include radio programs and podcasts about wildlife (Critter Chat), hands-on humane education classes for youth (Mothers Comfort Project) and special events and projects that aim to help animal shelters. Our Animal Guardian Award recognizes people who do good deeds for animals.
