Raising Achievement in Monroeville and Pitcairn, Inc. (Ramp)

Our mission is to effectively close the academic achievement gap between the mainstream student population and economically disadvantaged, minority and special needs student groups within the Monroeville and Pitcairn communities. VISION We envision the gap in achievement between lower and higher achieving students closed, and therefore overall higher academic achievement. We also envision community engagement, raised awareness of academic achievement gaps, collaboration and investment from stakeholders, and eventually an environment of academic excellence among all community groups within our community and schools. We will accomplish this by tracking student achievement data, identifying gaps in achievement, then implementing creative and research-based programming that will effectively close those gaps.
