Injured Warrior Support Mission
Warrior Bonus recipients (and everyone else who didn't receive one)!
Raider Sailing Foundation is excited to launch this GoFundMe campaign to support one of our combat veteran brothers who was injured right before the holidays and has significant medical expenses. Luke Hamilton took a spill and suffered a shattered heel. He had to receive Calcaneal surgery on Nov 3. And they had to use a plate and 3 screws to piece his heel back together. Luke owns and operates a small business in San Antonio, Texas where he employs 3 veterans at his machine shop. Recovery from this injury is 3-6 months and can come with complications. He hasn’t been able to get into work but just a handful of times since Nov 3. He’s healing up but is experiencing tibial nerve issues and might have to have another operation to correct it. Luke has had to pay out of pocket to keep his employees paid while he is absent bc he is responsible for 40-60% the income his business generates.
It’s been a tough holiday season for Luke and we are asking for support to keep his business open and operating while he is out and recovering.
Luke Hamilton served as a Scout Sniper in the GWOT with multiple combat tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. He lives in San Antonio with his wife Amber.
By contributing to this cause, you’re making a meaningful difference in our community.
Every contribution counts, no matter the size. I urge you to join me in supporting the Raider Sailing Foundation, so together we can help one of our brothers through the holidays!
