Quincy Parks Conservancy Inc

The Quincy Parks Conservancy is a private non-profit stewardship organization founded to protect and promote the natural and historical park lands, beaches, parkways and other open spaces within the City of Quincy, Massachusetts for the use and enjoyment of Quincy residents; to support the City of Quincy and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with planning, restoration and maintenance projects on such lands; and to promote events and programs in the pubic places for the public good. Governed by a board of directors, the conservancy brings together representatives of both the private and public sectors to carry out these goals. Its activities complement the longstanding initiatives of its public partners, the Quincy Parks and Forestry Department and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Together with its public and private partners, the Conservancy is committed to restore, protect and preserve these natural and cultural resources so as to provide for the health, education, beauty, and increased quality of life for individuals living or working in and visiting Quincy, Massachusetts
