Florida Cat Sanctuary Hurricane Damage & Other Misfortunes
501c3 Not for Profit Purradise Springs Cat Sanctuary is a sanctuary caring, owned by Denise & Thom Howard, in Fort White, FL. They care for over 130 cats. They are getting hit with a lot of financial issues & have very little funds left to do anything.
If we can't raise funds, they will need to find homes somewhere for 130+ friendly & semi feral felines & the sanctuary would close. Now they are facing hurricane #4 in 3 yrs. On top of all this, Thom suffered a seizure while riding his bike. He was Hospitalized for a # of days & has gone thru facial surgery, now recovering at home.
Denise & Thom struggle to find any on-going volunteers, making the entire workload of cat cares land on their shoulders.
