Puente House Foundation

Hello... I am raising funds for something that is near and dear to me. About 30 years ago, I was a co-founder of Puente House. Karl Moris and I started recovery homes to help men and women suffering with addiction or homelessness. We provide a safe place for those who seek help in breaking the cycle of addiction.

The Puente House Foundation mission statement still stands strong over 30 years later, helping thousands turn their lives around! Our non-profit foundation helps those get into our recovery program and on a path of success.

To celebrate the 17th year of Run4Recovery we are hosting a special event at ChuckWalla raceway. Our aim is to be able to raise $10,000 for scholarships for new people getting into sober living homes in the east San Gabriel Valley.

Puente House Foundation has done a Christmas toy giveaway every Christmas for over 25 years. We do this for kids who parents may be in a bit of trouble this year. We've had a number of sources for the gifts over the years. However this year through an unforeseen timing glitch we can't get the toys before our event this Saturday December 16th. So we are heading to a secondary ELF TOY factory (i.e. Target, Walmart etc.) to buy 200 gifts for the kids. We would really appreciate any help you guys can give us.

More information about Puente House Foundation: Puente House Foundation has been in existence since 1995. We give scholarships to newly sober alcoholics and addicts that need sober and structured living accommodations. We have served over 2,000 individuals since our beginning.
