PTA Kentucky Congress (Eastern High School Ptsa)

Project Graduation is a long-standing tradition at Eastern High School and graduating seniors look forward to it each year. On graduation night, this parent-sponsored program offers a fun overnight lock-in that is alcohol and drug-free. Parent/guardian volunteers organize, fund, operate and chaperone this all night party. All graduates are encouraged to attend; free of cost, as this is a fun farewell to high school days. Activities include music, food, basketball, volleyball, inflatables, including an inflatable bull, photo booth, human hamster ball races, and various other games and activities. Prizes are also a large part of the evening. We work to ensure that each participate leaves with a prize valued at least fifty dollars. Facility rental, security, entertainment, food and games all contribute to the cost of putting on this spectacular event. The projected cost is $30,000, which is in line with last year’s expenses.
