Please help us raise funds to buy HEPA air purifier machines for our public school in St. Petersburg, Florida! You can make a difference by donating today to PTA Florida Congress (James B Sanderlin K-8 PTSA). We will match the first $2,000 raised!

James B. Sanderlin K-8 is home to 750 students, almost 100 staff members, and 55 classrooms. Everyday day our middle schoolers move between 15 classrooms as they switch rooms for each subject. Middle school includes 6th graders who are only 11-years old and too young to get vaccinated against covid. Similarly, our elementary students are currently ineligible for this vaccine and visit many large gathering spaces like the cafeteria, art, music, and Spanish class. Our school is unable to open any windows for added ventilation, but with the addition of HEPA air filter machines they will help to remove viruses, allergens, and dust and make it safer and healthier learning environment for all our children.

We will use 100% of the money to buy HEPA air filter machines that cost approximately $200 each. Please contribute what you can whether that is $10, $100, or $1,000 to help us accomplish our goal.
