Breathe Through HG is dedicated to supporting mothers ballerina Hyperemesis Gavidarum, a debilitating life threatening pregnancy condition, which often leads to significant physical, financial, and emotional distress.
Why Your Support Matters: Hyperemesis gravidarum is more than just severe nausea and vomiting; it is a condition that can be so incapacitating that women are often unable to care for themselves, leading to profound physical, financial, and emotional stress. A staggering 52% of women suffering from HG have experienced suicidal thoughts, according to a 2001 study of 5,000 women. This is compounded by the inability to work, guilt over unmet responsibilities, and feelings of being a “burden” on their families.

Educational Initiatives: The funds would allow us to develop and disseminate up-to-date research and resources not only to women affected by HG but also to their care teams, including OBGYNs, mental health professionals, and midwives. HG Support Coordination: These resources would facilitate the creation of personalized support plans for expectant mothers, helping to assess and fulfill their unmet needs.
