We are Prophet Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church, a growing Orthodox Christian community currently located in Highland, California. For nearly 3 years, we have been worshiping, growing, and serving under the spiritual leadership of Fr. Ibrahim Ibrahim. Our parish is officially recognized as a mission church under the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

As our community continues to grow, we are reaching a major turning point:

We are raising funds to purchase a permanent church building in San Bernardino, California, a place we can truly call home.

Why We’re Raising Funds

The property we are hoping to purchase will allow us to:

Transition from a rented space to a permanent church building

Host weddings, baptisms, community meals, and major feast-day celebrations in our own church hall

Offer youth programs and Sunday school with dedicated classrooms for each age group

Remodel the interior to reflect the beauty and sacred tradition of Orthodox Christianity, with icons, an iconostasis, and the proper liturgical structure

The total cost of this endeavor is $3.85 million for the building, with an additional $250,000 needed for remodeling the interior and exterior to reflect the rich spiritual and artistic tradition of the Orthodox Church.

Though much of our service is in Arabic, our community is warm, inclusive, and committed to spiritual growth, tradition, and hospitality.
