Project Talent Launch
Hi! I'm Steven, a high school Junior from Polytechnic School in Pasadena. As a first-generation immigrant, I’ve seen firsthand how families lack social networks, putting them at a real disadvantage. That's why I created Project Talent Launch (PTL), a nonprofit that connects with businesses and community organizations to provide career exploration opportunities for high school students.
We are an organization by students, for students. We understand that high school is a time when we make important decisions about our academic and career paths. Internships help us develop an optimistic vision of our career path and give us guidance to make more informed decisions about our future.
There are too many unpaid internships, let alone internships at all, especially for students in immigrant and underserved families. Not paying excludes a significant portion of people from getting invaluable internship opportunities.
Every donation matters to us and will help us empower our students.
