About Poverty2Prosperity
Poverty2Prosperity.org is focused on providing zero percent interest loans to developing-world entrepreneurs who would otherwise not have access to working capital from traditional banks and credit institutions. By providing a 'help out' rather than a 'hand out,' these loans form the basis of a renewable source of economic stimulus; once the loan is paid back, it can be re-loaned immediately. Because we carefully vet borrowers, our repayment rate since 2012 is 98.99%. We are a 100% volunteer organization & over 97% of our donations have gone directly into making loans. We have expanded our loan funds to include those for Women Entrepreneurs, Youth (24 and under), Education (tuition and education providers), Personal Housing, Single Parents, and even a fund exclusively for USA Borrowers.
