Point of Pride has awarded $2,675,500 in financial aid and provided gender-affirming support to 22,000 people in all 50 states and around the world. Their mission is to help trans youth and adults access necessary, life-saving health and wellness services. Their vision is to create a world where trans and gender diverse people of all ages see a bright, safe future for themselves—living in their authentic truth.

I’ve been one ten Asian American artists selected by the Slants Foundation to create art for a cause that I’m passionate about. This year, I wrote a song about trans rights and worked with Point of Pride to help make a difference for AAPI communities.

Now, we’re sharing our story on national television for a new show called AsianPaCIVICS, airing every Sunday, 5pm-6pm, starting on Nov. 3rd on @crossingstv.

I'm running half marathons as fast as my leggies can take me this Spring. I want to use my knee and shin pain for a good cause! Point of Pride, supporting Trans+ folks, is the cause I have chosen.

To some it may be obvious, and to others it may not: being trans or outside the gender binary in the USA, as well as much of the world, is incredibly difficult. It is becoming much more difficult in recent months. Over a third of trans folks are experiencing poverty (2022 US Trans Survey). A new report by the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law (2025) finds LGBT people in the U.S. are five times more likely to experience violent victimization than non-LGBT people. LGBT victims of violence are also more likely than non-LGBT people to face serious violence—such as rape, sexual assault, robbery, or aggravated assault—and to suffer injuries because of these attacks. I believe I have a responsibility to this community, to my friends, family, and neighbors, to help out where I can. Access to good healthcare is one way I can help lift up others - and Point of Pride is a great non-profit with consistently high ratings as an adaptable charity that directly supports those it claims to.

Ghosts in the Snow is celebrating Drew’s next step in her transition in which she will be undergoing Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS) by throwing a Face Farewell Show on Saturday March 1st. On this occasion and in the current times we’re going though, we thought it would be great to give back to the trans community, so we have decided to donate/direct all proceeds from the show to “Point of Pride”. Their focus is in providing gender affirming clothing, supplies, and funding for similar procedures to trans people in need of support.
