About Phoenix Conservancy

The Phoenix Conservancy's restore endangered ecosystems globally for the communities that depend on them and the conservation of biodiversity. We implement restoration projects on Local, National, and Global geographic scales, prioritizing endangered ecosystems that meet our three central criteria: 1) Critically Endangered: Our focus is restoring imperiled ecosystems with less than %10 of the original ecosystem intact. 2) High Biodiversity: We focus on ecosystems that are unique, with a high number of unique and/or overall biodiversity relative to similar ecosystems in the region. 3) Maximal Impact: We prioritize sites where our work can efficiently maximize benefits to both the ecosystem and the communities that depend on it.
