Phoenix Act Inc

Hello everyone! Our names are Isabel (she/her) and Cree (they/them). Like many, we are enormous fans of Evan Rachel Wood, and have been inspired by her incredible work on and off the TV and movie screens. Not only is she an insanely talented actress from hits like Westworld, Frozen 2, Across the Universe, Thirteen, etc, but she is an activist and advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, BLM, immigrants, abuse survivors, and much more. The latter, specifically, she wrote a bill for, called the Phoenix Act, which lengthens the statute of limitations for victims of domestic violence. In April 2019, she testified in front of the California State Senate, and in 2020, the Phoenix Act was enacted into law. Now, she is working hard to have this act get passed in all 50 states, and it is already getting started in Washington and Minnesota. In order to get the bill passed in every state, Evan and her team opened up the Phoenix Act as a non-profit organization to receive donations.


September 7th is Evan's birthday, and to celebrate that, we have set up this GoFundMe to raise money for her non-profit. We hope to bring fans together for a good cause and to celebrate the fierce, courageous, compassionate, inspirational, and miraculous woman that is Evan Rachel Wood.
