TWO DOGS, THREE HEARTS - NOURISHING HOPE FOR PAULA GRACE
Hi, this is Steven Monahan Founder and Director of Green Pets America, Pet Meals on Wheels Pantry in Atlanta Georgia. Here is a letter we receive from Paula Grace a 70 year old woman who felt lost and abandoned but with the Grace of our pantry she felt found.
Dear Steven, and Green Pets America, Pet Meals on Wheels program team.
“We received the food today and "Thank You" just doesn't seem to be enough for what you have done for us. You fed the needy and restored hope.
I found myself at 70 years old, frightened, relocating alone to another city with my two puppies (my family) Snow and Pretty Girl. We relocated to Atlanta, 3 months ago, and live in a Senior Citizens Community. No furniture, dog beds, crates and above all...we had no food. I applied for food assistance 60 days ago and counting with no return word. I contacted your organization, and food was delivered "within the same week!!!"
We were lost and then we found you. I say that because you listened to me, you empathized with me and then you went above and beyond to feed my family "Immediately". Your caring and concern is unmatched.
I remember your voice cracking when I explained that my puppies were hungry and when you talked about the loss of your beloved puppy. It takes a VERY SPECIAL kind of person, who devotes and dedicates their life to helping those unfortunate, God's creatures, all of them.
I want to "THANK YOU STEVEN " for saving 2 lives, that means the world to me. I wish EVERYONE could know your generosity and kindness.
People should really know. I was lost and had nowhere to turn to. Being 70 years old, I constantly hear, "You can't. You can't, you can't. Steven, you and your organization turned that into, "You can, you can...because I will help you."
So please, please keep up the good work. You are much needed and appreciated. Thank you, Steven, with ALL 3 of our hearts. Paula, Pretty Girl and Snow.

In response to Paula's plea, we have shipped 3 bags of kibble and a case of wet food to her via Amazon Prime, which she received in 48 hours’ time. There is so much more we must do. Including vet costs for first time mother, Pretty Girl. And there are thousands of senior and young and in between pet owners like Paula who need our help.
Your donation can make a significant difference in the lives of pets and their owners. By contributing, you are not only providing essential food but also offering hope and companionship to those in need. Please consider donating to Green Pets America today.
