Hi everyone! As a part of my training for third degree, I am raising money for the PBK charity. All of the money goes towards PBK's turkey brigade, where we package and deliver meals to families in need around Thanksgiving. I have taken part in this charity every year since I was just 4, both raising money to buy the food and the packaging and delivery process. I remember hand making cards and collecting change when I was younger, but my favorite part was always delivering the packaged meals the day after the brigade. Last year we raised enough to package over 2000 meals! Please support both PBK charity and my journey towards my next belt.

2024 is flying by! Matthew graduated a year ago and Meghan is starting her final year at URI.

As always, I hope this note finds you well. Once again, I invite you to be part of a campaign to impact the community this fall greatly.

For 30 years, Personal Best and Personal Best Charity, with the help of many generous people, have provided meals to families in need within our community.

Personal Best Charity’s Thanksgiving Brigade has always been themed “Neighbors Helping

Neighbors.” If you haven’t seen the effort in action, what makes this extra special is how we do what we do.

Our mission has always been twofold: First, providing meals for those in need. Second, is giving the experience of being of service. We believe this fosters a spirit of service community-wide.

We would be honored if you would consider donating big or small. As we do every year, 100% of the money collected will go to the intended cause.

Henry is helping Personal Best Charity raise money to help feed 2,024 families this Thanksgiving. Any amount that you are able to donate is something. No amount is too small. The money will help supply all the fixings for a Thanksgiving dinner this year. The meals are packaged by the Personal Best Karate schools which you all know mean a lot to Henry and our family. The meals are all delivered locally to families in need.

You could even be a part of it and help package up all these meals on November 23rd.

Once you make a donation, you will receive an email with the charity's tax ID to submit when you file your taxes! It's a win-win for everyone!

Hello, My name is Alex George and I have been with Personal Best Karate for 13 years now. I am currently in training cycle to go for my 3rd degree black belt.I am raising money to go towards our Personal Best Charity which helps us feed thousands of families for Thanksgiving in what we call the turkey brigade which is when we do the wrapping of those baskets of food for those families. In the cover photo you can see me back when I was going for my 1st degree black belt helping give out the cranberry sauce for our turkey brigade back in 2016. So I would greatly appreciate if you could donate to help those families in need and support our cause.

Hi Everyone. My name is Nico. I am 15 years old and love my karate and running.

Personal Best Charity has a goal: Feeding 2,024 families in our communities at Thanksgiving time. Please help me raise funds to help make this happen. There are so many families that do not have enough money for food or can’t get out to get food for a dinner. Your donations will help so much. Thank you.

About the PBK Charity Turkey Trot:

The Personal Best Charity Turkey Trot is our centerpiece fundraising event of our calendar year. The money raised through the generosity of individuals, families, local businesses and corporate sponsors provides families in our service area a bountiful Thanksgiving meal.

As some of you know, the girls are going up for their second-degree black belts and with doing this, the girls need to raise money for the Turkey Brigade, where they help fill over 2,000 baskets to help feed families in need.

They have been part of the Turkey Brigade every year since they began their karate journey and take a lot of pride in volunteering their time to help feed these families. Every dollar goes straight to buying the food needed to fill the baskets and every donation is greatly appreciated!

Claire is raising money for the Personal Best Karate Charity. She will be participating in a 5K Turkey Trot on October 19th near Gillette Stadium. The money raised from this run will provide families in our area with a Thanksgiving meal. Please help her get to her goal!

Julien will be walking in the Turkey Trot again this year to raise funds to feed 2024 families for Thanksgiving this year through the Personal Best Karate Charity. Any amount will help. Thank you for taking the time to read and donate if possible.
