Peoria Promise is fundraising

Peoria Promise Tuition Program
Peoria Promise is a 100% donor funded tuition reimbursement program. The only program of its kind in our community, providing tuition for city of Peoria, Illinois high school graduates to attend Illinois Central College. A program for all students with no GPA requirements. Over the past 12 years, Peoria Promise has provided support to over 3,600 students with over $5.3 M raised.
The overall mission of Peoria Promise is to support economic development by increasing the number of City of Peoria high school graduates who complete a college or vocational program, thereby delivering a more skilled workforce for Peoria.
90% of our students complete their coursework.
66% would not be able to attend college with out Peoria Promise.
75% of our students are low income students.
47% are first in family to attend college.
Diversity in our program is 65%.
We have 450 eligible students who are depending on our program.
Do to Covid-19 and group gathering limitations, we had to cancel both of our major fundraising events, which has limited our ability to raise program dollars. Normally, over 50% of our funds are raised during these events through sponsors, tickets and auctions.
Our total fundraising need is $500,000. Our goal is 10%, or $50,000 , that we hope to raise with this page.
Will you join us in making a difference? Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to our students and community.
