Hey everyone, Angus here…fancy changing some lives with me?

You might have noticed a lot more adorable dogs and cats popping up in my videos recently. That’s because my girlfriend and I started fostering rescues from Romania with the incredible team at Paw Society.

This charity is absolutely amazing, but they need our help to keep performing miracles. Romania has one of the largest stray animal populations in Europe, with estimates of up to 500,000 stray dogs and many more stray cats…

Our foster cat Joey is dealing with a lot of health issues at the moment. We are doing our best to keep him happy and comfortable with us whilst he under goes lots of medical explorations to find the root cause of his problems. As we all know, vet bills are expensive, and this amount is adding up quickly for the charity.

They are dealing with a lot of financial issues at the moment and not enough funds coming in. With transport costs, medical bills, treatments, neutering and spading costs and much more, the charity could really do with some help.

Thats why I’ve started up this fundraiser, to raise as much money as I can for this amazing charity and help animals like Joey get better and to their forever homes.

We need your help for Elvis - a brave little survivor who deserves every chance at a full life

Elvis is a 3-year-old stray boy coming into our care after being hit by a car and left with a badly dislocated femur. He’s in pain, frightened, and had no one to speak for him - no owner, no safety net, no plan for treatment. That changed the moment he was found. Now, he has us - and we’re hoping, he’ll have you too.

We were faced with a heart-breaking decision: amputate or attempt complex surgery to save Elvis’s leg.

Amputation would have been quicker and far less expensive. But after specialist advice and careful consideration, we chose to fight for his leg.

Choosing to save his leg means advanced orthopaedic surgery and a carefully managed recovery. It also means a vet bill currently estimated at over £3,000. We believe he deserves the option that gives him the best long-term comfort, mobility, and dignity - not simply the cheapest solution.

We're begging for help, again..

Yesterday it was all hands on deck to step in for another cat hit by a car. The collision was witnessed, but the driver chose to flee to scene rather than show an ounce of compassion.

A local resident stepped up and got this sweet boy the care he needs at St Anne's Veterinary Group. Usually, owners have seven days to claim pets from the vet but this boy didn't have the luxury of time. A 24-hour clock began to count down...

Reports from locals suggest he has been stray for years with the community ensuring he has had enough to eat over the years. Vets confirmed he is not neutered or microchipped so an owner coming forward was highly unlikely. With no one to care for him, his fate was almost sealed.

We refuse to stand by and do nothing if there is a chance of hope.

Last night, we spoke to the out of hours vets who believe his injuries are repairable and that treatment is a humane option. Without a full investigation under anaesthetic we can't be certain of his injuries but we know he has an oral bleed, fractured jaw, likely fractured ribs, a degloving injury to the chin, a possible palette injury, and possible sight loss in one eye.

Due to his facial trauma, he's unable to eat so intervention is needed today to fit a feeding tube and uncover any more internal injuries. We have committed to getting him the care he deserves and offering a cosy foster home to recover in. Further down the line, he'll be placed in the best permanent home we can possibly find.

We don't currently have an estimated cost of treatment, but life is priceless so we have to make it work no matter what. Individuals and charities across the region have shown great care for this nameless boy and the kindness that has surrounded him has been heart-warming to witness. Our motto, together we save more paws, really is the key message from this story. We're overwhelmed that an act of such cruelty can still shine a bright light on human nature.

Alice needs us - help her beat FIP

Just when we thought this chapter was closed, little Alice has found herself fighting for her life...

After her brothers Disney and Rafiki bravely completed 84 days of treatment and observation for FIP, we were ready to find forever homes for all three. But heartbreak struck again - Alice’s tummy began to swell and an emergency vet visit confirmed our worst fear: Alice has FIP.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis is a deadly viral disease that, until recently, carried a certain death sentence. Infection occurs when the common Feline Coronavirus (FCoV) mutates and triggers a severe immune response. Some estimates state that up to 80% of domestic cats carry FCoV so FIP is a huge concern for cat owners. Luckily, medication is now available in the UK but it's expensive and not guaranteed to be successful.

Alice has already begun treatment and the medication seems to be working, but she's is also battling severe anaemia and jaundice, making her condition more critical. She’s receiving intensive vet care and daily monitoring but her medical costs have already passed £1,000. We're expecting this to double as she progresses with her treatment plan.

We’ve saved her brothers. We can’t stop now - Alice deserves her chance too.

URGENT: HELP SAVE MURRAY’S EYE!

We need your help - Murray’s future depends on it.

A few short weeks ago, Murray was a playful, happy kitten. But then his foster noticed something was wrong - his right eye didn’t look completely normal.

He was taken to the vet with suspected conjunctivitis and sent home with eye drops. But the condition didn’t improve. At his follow-up on Monday, the vet delivered devastating news: Murray has an eye ulcer, most likely from a claw injury.

Since then, he’s been monitored carefully and treated with medication - but today, we learned the ulcer is on the verge of rupturing. The only way to save his eye is emergency surgery.

Without it, Murray will lose his eye in unbearable pain.

We can’t let that happen. Murray was rescued from a car workshop at just a few weeks old, abandoned and alone. He’s already survived more than any kitten should, and now he’s fighting for his vision.

The amazing team at Happy Tails Vets has booked him in for surgery tomorrow but we urgently need your support to cover the cost.

Up until ten days ago, rescue cat Disney was your usual, five-month-old kitten. He was causing mischief for his foster mum and creating chaos with his siblings, then his story took a turn for the worse…

Late one evening, Disney’s foster mum noticed that Disney seemed lethargic, his breathing rate had increased and he wasn’t interested in his dinner. The following morning, he was rushed in for an emergency vet appointment.

After undergoing an x-ray it was discovered Disney had fluid on his chest and required an urgent chest drain. He crashed during the procedure but thankfully the vet got him back.

We then received the most devastating news any cat carer could hear… Disney was diagnosed with FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

Just a few years ago FIP was a guaranteed death sentence, and still is in the majority of cases without the right knowledge.

In 2021, a drug called GS-441524 was developed but, until recently, had not been approved for use in the UK by vet pharmaceutical companies. The administration of GS is not a straightforward one and requires accurate dosing, administering and supportive vet care for a dedicated 84 days.

It is also extremely expensive and most vets, who rarely diagnose FIP, have ever used the drug. We had to give it a shot for young Disney.

Thanks to a huge team effort, Disney has begun his (potentially) lifesaving treatment. But this treatment comes at a cost of an estimated £4,500… we don't even have half of this in our bank account.

We really need your help. Time and money is the difference between life and death for Disney.

In January, a kitten in our care named Disney, developed FIP - a serious and potentially deadly illness. We could never have imagined this was the update we’d be writing after his story…

At a recent check-up, Disney’s brother Rafiki had a high temperature, but this was put down to stress at travelling to the vet. Then he began to go off his food, developed a pot-belly, and his fur condition deteriorated.

His foster and Co-Trustee of the charity, Lynda, knew instantly it could be serious. As a team, we decided to pre-emptively give Rafiki a carefully-calculated dose of GS441524 - the medication used to treat FIP. It wouldn't do him any harm if he didn't have FIP, but could save his life if he did.

Rafiki perked up the following day and went back to see Dr Maria at Happy Tails Vets. She confirmed our suspicions - Rafiki has a textbook case of classic wet FIP and requires his own 84-day treatment course. Giving him the medication when we did stopped him from deteriorating further.

With Disney only halfway through his treatment, the strain and stress this places on our team is unimaginable. We'll give Rafiki the best chance at life, just as we’ve done for Disney, but we need serious help to do it.

We’re aware we’ve asked for a lot recently, but nothing would break our hearts more than if Disney was given a chance and his brother wasn’t. Disney and Rafiki are so closely bonded and we know they’ll support each other through this tough time. Our dream was that once Disney recovered, the two would be adopted as a pair. We’re hopeful that can still happen, and you can help.

Rafiki’s treatment is estimated to cost £1,800. This is much lower than Disney’s as the amazing team at Happy Tails have sourced the same GS treatment from a cheaper supplier, but it’s still money we just don’t have.

Any support to save little Rafiki's life would mean the world to us, to him, and to his loving brother Disney.

We need your help to reclaim the UK pet-event sector on behalf of small hardworking charities. We believe in animal welfare over profits.

RescueFest is the most inclusive pet event in the UK with its entire focus on animal welfare and non-profit groups. It has been created by animal charity, People's Animal Welfare Society.

The PAW Society team has attended many of the UK's pet-focussed events, either to fundraise for the charity, or as customers. Every time, they were disappointed that the charity sector seemed largely ignored and that only cats and dogs seem to be the focus of many events.

PAW Society created RescueFest to celebrate a variety of animal charities - from hedgehogs to horses and everything in between, all animal charities are welcome to attend for free! In addition, local businesses have the chance to showcase their products in the artisan market and world street-food area. The festival is lunching in Liverpool in 2025, with hopes to expand to other cities from 2026.

With free entry for the public, it's important the charity organisers don't lose any desperately needed charity funds. That's why we're asking for help to make sure RescueFest has enough funds to meet its goals and provide a brilliant day out for the entire family!
