If you answered yes to any of these questions, congratulations! You’re our target audience. We are the Peachtree 9U All-Star team from Crozet, Virginia, and. WE. NEED. YOU.

To the delight of our players, league, and local community (and conversely to the utter dismay of our parents, who thought they might, you know, take a vacation this Summer), the Peachtree 9U All-Star team bludgeoned its way to being runners upin the Commonwealth of Virginia and then shellacked all comers in the Southeast Regional Tournament (1st place from Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia), earning an invitation to the Cal Ripken 2025 World Series in Florence, AL. These events have led to the following conditions:

1. We are the first Peachtree Baseball team ever to receive an invitation to the Cal Ripken World Series (at any age or level);

2. We have exhausted our parents’ time, goodwill, and financial futures in reaching this point; and

3. We need to raise roughly $25,000 from the community to compete for a national title.

Our families are contributing as much as they can at this point, but your assistance would help us tremendously in making this dream a reality. Not only do we have to pay for special uniforms and tournament fees, but also hotel rooms for what might amount to 8 days or more in the aforementioned Florence, AL (which, for those of you less savvy with a globe, is not particularly close to Crozet, VA). To the extent that it matters to you (and I mean you, Scrooge McDuck), we’re raising funds through Peachtree Baseball & Softball, a non-profit, so yes – you can and should deduct anything you contribute from your taxes.

We are raising money to benefit the Peachtree 12U Softball All Stars and State Runners Up to attend the Regional Tournament in Clemons, NC, July 12th! Winning second place and the Sportsmanship Award at States, these girls worked hard to earn a place in the Regionals tournament and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to these girls!
