We need your help! A couple months ago we took in this little 2 1/2 year old French bulldog named Boogie. He is a complete sweetheart and has so much life and love in him. He was surrendered to us because his family didn’t have time to care for him. He came to us severely skinny, dirty, and raw in between all of his folds. He would just sit all day, never run or play. He could barely breathe. Always throwing up his food, never could hold anything down. Hence, his skin and bones. So we did what we knew had to be done- took him to the vet, x rays, blood work, etc. he was diagnosed with a congenital disorder, in easy terms pigeon chest. They also said his nasal cavity and soft palate needed to be operated on and that’s what will help him lead the life he deserves. It is what he needed for the past 2 years but was overlooked. We then were referred to a specialist. So I took him to one of the best bulldog specialist in Orange County. They concurred, so they told us we needed to repeat x rays and blood work and then get him in for surgery. He also needs to be neutered which we will do all at the same time. They think this will be the only surgery he needs and with proper care he can continue to live a great life with his pigeon chest. They require a 50% deposit for them to book it and we need all the help we can get. This has been a large undertaking for our rescue and we can’t continue to save lives without donations. Any amount helps- $1,$5,$10. We want to get this boy healthy and happy so he can live his best life. Any funds leftover, will go to the other animals in the rescue!
