Paws and Affection

Paws and Affection is a nonprofit 501c3 with the mission of training and placing service, facility, and companion dogs with young people who have a range of disabilities in the greater Philadelphia area and to educate the public about service dogs and their role in the community. Their goal is to empower these children with independence and confidence by matching them with amazing dogs.

Paws and Affection is close to our families hearts as Madelyn and Charli both work with a therapy dog who was trained at their facility. Therapy dogs are fantastic at helping kids with physical, social or learning challenges by building their confidence and self-esteem. We know from personal experience that therapy dogs can have a magical impact on kids with learning differences and look forward to helping Paws and Affection continue their mission.
