Hello, my name is Taysha Souza. I'm working together with Pavilion One Inc, and raising money to help the victims of this great tragedy that hit the South of Brazil, my family's country.

Families are being rescued, the waters haven't completely receded yet, many children are scared and without homes, many animals are lost. Contaminated water is causing illness and despair in the population in addition to the damage. The situation is very sad, they need drinking water, food, blankets, mattresses, clothes, medication, in short we need your help.

The biggest climate tragedy in the history of Rio Grande do Sul continues to result in frightening numbers, which reflect the severity of the floods that are ravaging the state.

According to the bulletin released by the Civil Defense, this Sunday morning (June/09/24), the number of cities in Rio Grande do Sul affected by the disaster jumped from 473 to 478, out of a total of 497 municipalities.

According to the bulletin, 2.398.255 people were affected by floods. Of this contingent, 18.854 thousand are sheltered in shelters yet and 423.486 thousand are yet considered homeless (staying in the homes of family or friends). According to the Civil Defense bulletin, 806 injured people, 45 missing people and 173 confirmed deaths. So far 82.666 thousands rescued people and 12.527 thousands rescued animals.
