Silverback Wrestling Club

Silverback Wrestling Club is excited to be opening our very first official location. We will have our own space now, instead of renting out space from our wrestling friends. In order to start this new business venture, we need help with the costs of wrestling mats, deposit, and other start-up costs. We are excited to be able to grow our business and offer more group classes, private lessons, seminars, and other services to youth, middle school, high school, and adult wrestlers. Our new club will have an expanded class schedule with more class times/days and different level classes. We will also have more mat space for training. We hope that you can help us with the new business that will benefit all of our current and future members.

Silverback Wrestling Club is designed to help wrestlers of all ages, both boys and girls, improve their overall wrestling skills. We have youth
from all over Southern California that attend our training sessions and compete with our team. We have taken our team to many tournaments including USA Wrestling, RMN tournaments, and Supreme tournaments. Some of our favorite annual tournaments are Fargo, Preseason Nationals, Folkstyle State, Freakshow, US Open, and many more.

Our intimate setting assures that each wrestler will get hands-on attention. Wrestlers will learn high-percentage techniques from the feet, take-down to finish. Techniques covered from the bottom position include stand-ups, leg ride defense, spiral ride, and ankle ride counters as well as reversals. Each wrestler will also learn ways to score from the top position, including leg riding, armbar series, tilts, and cradles.

Our club teaches wrestlers about healthy weight management, mindset, sportsmanship, team building, leadership, and discipline. We help high school students with college recruiting and scholarships so that they can use wrestling to ensure they receive a good education and future career. Wrestling provides youth with important life skills, including how to set goals and work hard to achieve those goals. Our club has been able to help children who have issues at home, ADHD, poor grades, and more and has helped them to become motivated young children with big goals of winning wrestling tournaments and attending college. Our goal is to inspire youth through wrestling to improve their lives and to provide support for those who cannot afford it.
