The Painted Rain Ranch Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 non-profit. We rescue the pets no one else wants and provide a loving final home to our furry residents, where they live until their last breath.

Many pets are tossed away like trash and suffer needlessly on the streets. Others end up at shelters but are overlooked due to medical issues, old age, or behavioral problems.
We believe those pets deserve a chance at a good life, too.

Our resident animals have extremely challenging health issues, which is why no one wanted them. Some have autoimmune diseases such as painful mouth ulcers (stomatitis), diabetes, asthma, or are missing legs. Others have behavior issues and others were saved from euthanasia.
We rely on private donations to cover the high cost of proper veterinary care, prescriptions, and ongoing care.
Our residents live with us as part of the family for the rest of their natural lives on a beautiful and peaceful 30-acre ranch. There are no cages or crates.
