Operation Sharing Tennessee

On April 1st during 55 mile an hour winds, our almost 2 year old roof was destroyed, leaving a big portion of our warehouse exposed.

We currently are paying $1,200 a month towards a 15 year loan for that new roof that we were able to secure for $200,000.00 two years ago. After this payment and all of our other expenses, we simply do not have the extra funds to replace the portion of the roof that was destroyed. At this time, we are still waiting on the insurance adjuster to come. Either way, we have a $25,000.00 deductible. We are run by donation only, and have done so now for 15 years. We do not receive any government funding. Out of our 88,000 sq Ft warehouse our 3 staff and 7-10 volunteers distributes an average of $10 million dollars every year of goods like, food, drink, clothing, furniture and toiletries. We partner with over 300 other nonprofits and tax exempt organizations to get such commodities into the hands that need them. We do so on a fairly small budget. Our Christian based mission has always operated on faith and by this faith we will continue. We work hard to serve not only our county, but surrounding counties as well.

It is at this time that we ask for your help. Our biggest need is in the form of monetary donations. We are first seeking $25,000 to help with our insurance deductible, and secondly we need funding for our loan payment and other operating expenses to be able to continue to serve.
