Open Door Skidrow Ministry began as a sidewalk church and feeding a hot homecooked meal in the heart of Skidrow, Downtown, Los Angeles, CA. Now we are trying to acquire a building to continue the only church service for the unreached homeless men and women living on the streets, sleeping on the sidewalks, in shelters and temporary housing. Open Door Skidrow Ministry provides a moving church service on the sidewalk beginning with praise & worship, a sermon, and ends with an altar call for salvation. After the close of the service, we feed anywhere from 150-225 men and women with a hot homecooked meal which consists of turkey, pork, bbq ribs, steak and shrimp.
We are trying to acquire a building for a Shelter That Makes Sense, a 24-hour shelter where homeless men and women can come off the streets at night.
Please donate to this unique ministry who has been reaching and feeding the chronic homeless men and women for the past 16 years (since November 2008).
God bless you!
