Support One Fish Foundation's 10th anniversary
Hi!
One Fish Foundation turns 10 this year! It has been a personal and professional journey to be sure. A learning curve, trial by fire, 110% commitment and a path toward community engagement in classrooms, restaurants, festivals, farmer’s markets, businesses, conferences, grocery stores and more.
The mission to share the sustainable seafood education message with more folks continues.
To honor the fact this little but mighty non-profit continues to grow, I’m going to hike the Presidential Traverse in the White Mountains of New Hampshire … in a day. This will happen in late August after celebrating another milestone: turning 60.
Hiking the traverse is no small feat. Eleven peaks, including the five tallest mountains in New England. The distance is 19.2 miles with a 9,000-foot elevation gain. I’ll leave the trailhead on Mt. Madison by 4 a.m. and aim to arrive at the southern end of the trail by sunset.
Pretty intimidating. But so was launching a sustainable seafood education nonprofit.
And here we are 10 years later. So this is your chance to sponsor me on this challenge as I raise awareness about sustainable seafood education, local seafood systems, support for local, community-based seafood producers, and One Fish Foundation.
Thanks!
Colles
