Hello! My name is Jung-Yeun Kim, and I’m the principal of One Christian Academy (OCA)—a Christ-centered school in Northvale, NJ, built on prayer, faith, and the commitment of families and teachers who believe in raising the next generation in both strong Christian values and academic excellence.
This school began as a response to the prayers of Christian families searching for a place where their children could be nurtured in truth, character, and learning. That vision took root when Pastor Yuk stepped out in faith to rent a building and open the doors.
With a small budget but big faith, we began. Our teachers brought in their own supplies, decorated their classrooms with care, and created warm, inspiring spaces with limited resources—but with unlimited heart.
Today, we are reaching out for help to meet a very real need: air conditioning for our classrooms.
Some rooms have no AC. Others rely on outdated units that are so loud, it’s hard for students to hear and for teachers to teach. As the weather warms, this challenge affects not just comfort but focus and learning.
We’re raising funds to install quiet, efficient AC units in every classroom—to create a peaceful, effective environment where students can grow in knowledge and faith.
