I'm reaching out to those interested in making a difference for generations to come , to have a hand in creating a home of Allah (swt) & creating Sadaqah Jariyah which will continue to earn you rewards in this life & the hereafter.

I’m here to ask you to help fund Omar Islamic Center, Inc, located in Middletown, CT.

Alhumdulilah our Muslim community here in Connecticut has been growing & to keep up with the growth we were able to combine the property next door but we need your help in funding the project.

The property has already been secured. Prayers and activities such as Quran classes, martial arts classes, & many more been taking place since 2019. Once the expansion take place, we plan on offering an Islamic education program to create a positive influence for the children in the community.

However there is much work to be done to expand the space & make it usable for the growing community.

Omar Islamic Center is committed to establishing a center that welcomes a diverse community of Muslims as well as those interested in learning the message of Islam and to share that message respectfully to the surrounding community

The masjid which lies at the heart of the center, is the bedrock of that strong community. Not merely a structure, but an auspicious setting, tranquil at times and bustling at times that provides the needed nourishment for the soul and sparks the energy of the community. The expanded space complements the primary function of the masjid, which prioritizes worship and the cohesion of the community.

Along with this letter, you will find the building plan, progress pictures and details of what is needed to complete the project and realize our vision.

The Muslims in the United States have a special responsibility to help steer the nation to desist from injustice and instead spread positive action at home and abroad. An abundance of quality Islamic Centers, such as our beloved space on Broad street in Middletown are exactly what will foster the unity and forge the Muslim community to make our influence felt far and wide, in sha Allah.
