We have just TWO days left to raise $10,000, an amount that we hope will enable the Oliphant Clan & Family Association of North America to purchase a Federal Proclamation from 1861 signed by President Abraham Lincoln and naming Joseph Burr Oliphant as Paymaster of the U.S. Navy.
This item goes up for auction on Halloween morning (Saturday, 10am) online and in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The auctioneer’s expected range for a successful bid on the item is $6,000 to $10,000.
