Help Bring Elite Trombonists to Hawai'i
Aloha,
We have an incredible opportunity to bring The Slide Monsters—a world-renowned trombone ensemble—to Hawai‘i for a once-in-a-lifetime day of music, mentorship, and inspiration on Thursday, August 28th.
The Slide Monsters are made up of four of the greatest trombonists in the world:
- Joseph Alessi – Principal Trombonist, New York Philharmonic
- Eijiro Nakagawa – Leading Trombonist from Japan
- Brandt Attema – Bass Trombonist from the Netherlands
- Marshall Gilkes – American Trombonist for both Jazz and Classical
Together, these four bring a boundary-breaking sound that blends jazz, hip-hop, classical, and contemporary styles—inspiring musicians across the globe.
Why We Need Your Help
With your support, we can host:
- A masterclass open to Hawai‘i’s young and aspiring trombonists
- A live performance showcasing world-class artistry
- An unforgettable opportunity for local students to learn directly from the best
Your donation will go directly toward making this event possible—covering artist fees, venue costs, travel expenses, and everything needed to bring this inspiring musical experience to life.
Why It Matters
This isn’t just about a concert—it’s about investing in the future of music education in Hawai‘i. By giving local students the chance to learn from these international masters, we hope to inspire the next generation of musicians to pursue excellence and elevate the standard of music education across the state.
Donate today and help us inspire the next generation of musicians in Hawai‘i.
