TO FOSTER A MORE CONNECTED NYC & ENRICH LIVES THROUGH LAUGHTER NYLaughs is a performing arts nonprofit founded on the belief that when laughter is part of a collective public experience, it builds community, strengthens the bonds between individuals & is a path to greater health individually & collectively. We work to broaden the cultural landscape to include comedy, too. For over a decade, NYLaughs has improved New Yorkers’ quality of life through free comedic programming with significant comedic artists in heavily-populated, centrally-located, easily-accessible public spaces such as parks, museums, & libraries, thereby reaching diverse audiences of every demographic & socioeconomic level. NYLaughs currently offers 2 public programs: "Laughter in the Park" & "Laughter in the City."
