We are honored to announce the upcoming Unified NEXTGEN Entrepreneurship Conference organized by the World OKTA New York Chapter (Instagram), representing the Northeast region of North America. This year, for the first time, the ten chapters from the Eastern United States and Canada have joined forces to hold the NEXTGEN Entrepreneurship Conference, and we are delighted to have selected Columbia University in New York as the venue. We kindly request your interest and support as it is a momentous occasion.

What is the World OKTA?

The World OKTA, also known as the World Korean Trade Association, was established in 1981 by Korean business professionals worldwide with the aim of contributing to the economic development, trade promotion, and global market expansion of their home countries, as well as realizing a global Korean economic community. Starting with 101 members from 16 countries at its inception, the World OKTA has steadily grown over the past 41 years and is now the largest economic organization for the overseas Korean community, with 142 chapters in 67 countries, over 7,000 regular members, and 26,000 next-generation members, totaling 7.5 million overseas Koreans.

About the 2023 Next-Generation Entrepreneurship Conferene:

Date and Venue: August 4th to 6th (Friday to Sunday) at Columbia University, New York.

The local NEXTGEN Entrepreneurship Conference is an educational initiative targeting young Korean diaspora worldwide, who are the future leaders of the Korean global community. Through networking with global Korean business leaders, the program aims to expand economic territory and enhance the brand value of the Korean community. With a goal of 100,000 graduates, the program not only provides education but also instills a sense of Korean identity and love for their home country, fostering them as future global economic leaders and the mainstay of the future Korean business network. In addition, a NEXTGEN Entrepreneurship Conference committee has been established to organize and manage the program, focusing on organizing the next-generation network and promoting their involvement through re-education.

Lastly, this year, 100 participants from the ten chapters in the Eastern United States and Canada will have the opportunity to learn about entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial spirit over a 2-night, 3-day program. They will embark on a journey to become key players in the economic network of the Korean diaspora. We kindly request your generous support to help them, as they will gain unforgettable memories and experiences.
